Schedule & Fees
My office hours for in-person and online appointments are Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays. New client mini-sessions are generally available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
My fees are as follows:
70 minute session = $180
90 minute session = $230
While the standard therapy session is 45-50 minutes with most clinicians, a standard therapy session with me is 70 minutes. When you are being asked to open up and be vulnerable with a new person, I find that most people need more time to feel secure and comfortable.
Many individuals choose 70 minute appointments, but there are circumstances when having more time together can be beneficial. Big life transitions, wanting to incorporate art in a deeper way and processing trauma are only a handful of the reasons people have named for wanting a longer amount of time. Let’s talk about what will work best for you!
For couples and other relationships, (if you are able) I recommend a minimum of 90 minute sessions. More time together gives us more opportunity for all voices to be heard, and many people have anecdotally stated that they felt a dramatic difference in what they were able to change (and ultimately feel better about!) more quickly with longer sessions.
I also offer 5 sliding scale appointment slots per week* for folks who cannot afford the full session fee. Please let me know if you need help affording our sessions.
*Currently my sliding scale slots are full. I suggest Open Path Collective to find a therapist with a sliding scale that is a good fit for you. Also, Walk-In Counseling Center is a totally free, walk-in option with multiple locations in the Twin Cities area.
All fees are due in full in the form of cash or credit card at the beginning of the session.
I do not accept insurance.
If you have a Health Savings Account you can often use those funds to pay for therapy services. It is your responsibility to understand the benefits and limitations of your plan.
